After School Clubs
At Churchfields Infants’ School we are always looking for new ways to inspire our children to love learning and also create a wide range of experiences and opportunities that enhance our curriculum.
We are delighted to announce that we now offer a wide range of extra- curricular after school clubs. The clubs are available after school from 3:30 until 4:30.
For Autumn Term 2022 the clubs on offer are as follows:
Monday
Football for Reception, Year 1 and Year 2
Tuesday
Tennis for Reception, Year 1 and Year 2
Chess Club for Year 1 and Year 2
Wednesday
Cricket for Reception, Year 1 and Year 2
Art Skills for Year 1 and Year 2
Art and Craft for Year 1 and Year 2.
Thursday
Multi-sports for Reception, Year 1 and Year 2
Lego Club for Year 1 and Year 2
Friday
Gymnastics for Reception, Year 1 and Year 2
We are continuing to explore other ideas for extra-curricular clubs in the near future so watch this space!
Breakfast Club
Our Breakfast Club provides a calm, high quality child care option for families of children who attend our school in year groups Reception to Year 2. The club takes place in our school hall and is staffed with members of our school team who know our children very well.
The club operates daily from 8:00 am to 8:55 when the children will be taken to class by the Breakfast Club staff. Breakfast club does not operate on staff training days (INSET).
ISS, our catering company, provide a nutritious breakfast which will consist of cereals, toast and fruit. Food hygiene regulations are followed at all times.
Breakfast Club offers structured adult-led activities as well as free choice. Activities may include art and craft, construction or Lego, board games and opportunities for reading / home learning tasks.
The cost is £5 per session whether breakfast is taken or not. Parents are able to select which days they need and book in termly blocks via ParentPay. For more information, please contact our admin team.
