Admission to Reception
Admissions to Reception at Churchfields Infants' School must be made online to the London Borough of Redbridge Primary School Admissions using the online eAdmissions form - please see the link below.
Tours of the School
Tours of the school for Reception admissions take place in the Autumn term. We encourage prospective parents to visit us, so you can decide if this is the school for your child. You will be able to meet the Headteacher, listen to a short presentation, ask questions and see our school in action. We look forward to welcoming you to Churchfields Infants' School.
Our tours for children due to start Reception in September 2023 will take place during October and November 2022. Dates and details of how to book onto one of our tours will be published on the Latest News page under News and Events in September 2022.

Admission to Nursery
Please take a look at our nursery prospectus by clicking on the following link Nursery Prospectus
Churchfields Nursery has 90 spaces (30 morning, 30 afternoon and 30 full-time). Children are admitted into our Nursery in the academic year of their 4th birthday. In certain circumstances we may be able to admit children to our Nursery in the school term AFTER their third birthday. This is only IF there are spaces available.
Applications for Nursery places must be made directly to the school by 28th February in the calendar year your child is due to start nursery, using the application form below. Please either print the form and bring it into the nursery office, or complete it electronically and email it back to the school via our admin email address: firstname.lastname@example.org
The table below may be helpful in confirming when your application needs to be made and the academic year you can expect your child to start in our nursery. Please do not apply before your child's 3rd birthday.
|Child's date of birth||Academic year intake||Application deadline|
|1 Sep 2019 - 31 Aug 2020||Sep 2023 - Aug 2024||28 February 2023|

Please read our "Nursery Information" before completing the application form.
All parents are entitled to 15 hours of free Early Years education for their child each week (i.e. 5 sessions of 3 hours per day for 38 weeks). Some parents may be eligible for 30 hours of free Early Years education. Eligibility can be checked by applying via the Government website below once your child has turned 3 (please do not do this before your child's 3rd birthday as it will give an ineligible result).
For children attending the nursery 30 hours a week (i.e. both sessions with a break for lunch) we make a small charge for lunchtime supervision.
If you are not eligible for 30 hours funding but wish for your child to take up a 30 hour place, you must be prepared to pay for the additional 15 hours a week.
Details of our Nursery charges for 30 hour places can be found by clicking on the "Nursery Information" link above.
The statutory right to appeal does not apply to admission to nursery.
Please note, a place in nursery DOES NOT guarantee that your child will be admitted to the main school. You will need to apply for a Reception place between September 1st and January 15th, the year before your child is due to start school.
