This week we were very lucky to secure some tickets for the Into Film Festival for a group of Y2 children. We watched Superworm and The Smeds and the Smoos. The children thoroughly enjoyed the films and have collected lots of ideas for their writing back in school.  The films shared important messages about diversity, friendship, inclusion, bravery and adventure. It was lovely to hear the children talk about the stories in such detail, including character traits, settings and relating the story to their own personal experience. Their behaviour on public transport and at the cinema was exemplary.  We look forward to the other visits we have planned across the year.
