This week reception have been learning about animals from cold environments. We read the book 'The Great Explorer' by Chris Judge and then went on an exciting expedition to the North Pole and found out about the animals that live there.

On Tuesday we had a visit from Archaeologist Jill Hummerstone. She brought in some real mammoth bones and we found out about these prehistoric creatures and how they were adapted to live in cold habitats.
