History Trip To The Cenotaph

In history, the children have learnt about World War 1 as a significant historical event for the UK and the world. Children have also learnt about significant individuals such as the war poets Wilfred Owen and Siegfired Sassoon as well as discussing the contribution of soldiers from other counties all over the world. In honour of Remembrance Day, the children went on a trip to visit the Cenotaph. They also made poppies to show our respect for all who have died during all wars and considered how it how have felt to be soldiers.
