Year 1 have been reading the story 'The Pet Potato' in their English lessons, and this week they were given their very own pet potatoes to look after! They have given their potato a name, a personality (complete with likes and dislikes) and have had lots of fun spending time with them in school! Some of them even made an appearance in assembly! The children have kept a diary to remember all the exciting things they have got up to while their pet potato was with us at school!
