Octopus and Starfish Classes had a fantastic time on their school trip to the Discover Children's Story Centre in Stratford, as part of the Year 1 English curriculum. This was the children's first school trip travelling on the tube, and they were excited to explore the 'Monster Fairground' that had been set up in the Discover Centre for them! They enjoyed role play activities and took part in a Drama session where they worked together as a class to design their very own monster to visit the Monster Fairground! Children were able to use an impressive range of descriptive language to explain their monster in more detail! We would like to thank the children for representing our school so well, and also the adults who accompanied us and kept the children safe and happy throughout! Thank you everyone!
